After shaky beginnings nearly two decades ago, an increasing number of learning and development professionals have been rediscovering virtual learning simulations as an efficient, learner-embraced learning delivery tool. As today’s learning leaders evaluate these innovations, however, the same core questions still emerge: Are learning simulations effective? Can they be easily and cost-effectively adapted for new uses and applications? What are the considerations and components necessary for simulations to be effective?
