Surgient, a provider of virtual lab management applications for automating software demo, test and training labs, has announced that BMC Software is using Surgient Virtual Demo Lab Management System (VDMS) as part of its direct and partner sales-enablement offering.
BMC Software is a global provider of business service management (BSM) solutions, which empower more than 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies to manage IT from the perspective of their business.
To demonstrate the full value of BSM to customers, BMC designed and developed the BMC Flight Deck Global Solutions Site (GSS) powered by Surgient VDMS.
With Surgient VDMS, the BMC sales force and the company’s more than 400 partners can quickly deliver complex, customized software demonstrations on demand, improving the customer demo experience, reducing costs and accelerating sales cycles.
The BMC Flight Deck GSS and Surgient VDMS provide BMC sales and partner personnel with 24-hour access to a library of reliable, customized and interactive software demos that enable users to present the value of BMC solutions from any location, on demand, via a standard Internet connection.
To date, BMC has 14 solution demonstrations available and has reported more than 2500 BMC Flight Deck reservations.
Having on-demand access to multiple solution demonstrations allows both BMC direct and partner sales personnel to respond to customer RFPs faster and visually present the value of BMC solutions, including BSM, while decreasing the financial and manpower costs associated with building demonstration environments.
