Evolv, a provider of SaaS-based workforce intelligence, announced it has expanded its management team, naming former LRN executive vice president Jim Blackie as its EVP of sales and marketing.
Blackie brings more than 20 years of sales and management leadership to Evolv. He comes to Evolv from LRN, a company that provides services to global organizations focused on developing values-based approaches to governance, culture and leadership to enable sustainable growth.
As an EVP at LRN, Blackie grew the company more than three-fold by building a global sales and marketing organization and rapidly expanding LRN’s customer community. He was also successful in expanding LRN’s global presence through his focus on international relationships.
Prior to LRN, Blackie served as group vice president of North American sales at Gartner, where he played a pivotal role in Gartner’s growth and market leadership. He also held various sales and management positions at Xerox Corp. Blackie holds a B.S. from Santa Clara University.
