Chicago, Feb. 17 – The editors of Chief Learning Officer magazine have announced that the “2009 Business Intelligence Industry Report” is now available for purchase. For the fifth year, the annual report marks the culmination of a comprehensive survey of Chief Learning Officer magazine's Business Intelligence Board that comprises 1,500 senior learning executives.
With the troubling economy, those surveyed reported they are experiencing more support from C-level executives. Surveyed CEOs, COOs and presidents concur: 83 percent said they believe the learning organization will play a significant role in the response to the economic situation.
“The economy has made this a critical resource for learning leaders as they identify new trends and emerging ideas in the industry. It's also an effective way for them to benchmark their organizations' philosophy and direction,” said Norm Kamikow, editor in chief of Chief Learning Officer magazine.
The “2009 Chief Learning Officer Business Intelligence Industry Report” examines eight significant topics in today's corporate learning industry. These include training and development investment portfolio, training delivery methods, trends in informal learning, talent management, learning and development staffing, alignment of training to organizational strategy, outsourcing and predictions for 2009.
