NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science (NTL), founded in 1947, seeks a new President and CEO. NTL, headquartered just outside of Washington, DC in Alexandria, Virginia with a facility in Bethel, Maine, is a not-for-profit educational organization of members and staff whose purpose is to advance the field of applied behavioral sciences and to develop change agents for effective organizational leadership.

The mission of NTL is carried out through public training programs and certificates, customized consulting and training services, a graduate program through the American University/NTL Masters of Organizational Development, and The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science (JABS). These activities are pursued with the cooperation and service of the Board of Directors and staff along with the active engagement of its 350-plus member network.

The next President and CEO will join a globally recognized organization with a legacy of pioneering in the field of applied behavioral science. The ideal candidate will have an established reputation in a field related to NTL’s work, proven success in marketing and growing an organization, as well as a track record in sound administrative and fiscal oversight. NTL seeks a leader with vision and entrepreneurial drive who possesses the strong management skills needed to direct and inspire the Board of Directors, staff, and members. S/he must also bring a deep understanding and appreciation of applied behavioral science and a commitment to social justice and diversity. The President and CEO reports to the Board of Directors and oversees a 13-person staff and a budget of $4 million.
