On the heels of tremendous growth in talent management systems consulting services, HRchitect has expanded its offerings to provide human capital management (HCM) systems strategic planning services.

These consulting services are designed to help organizations create or refine their multiyear HCM systems strategic plan, which is critical to have in today’s ever changing workplace.

HRchitect’s services will provide for individualized analyses and plans based on the specific human capital goals of a firm and not the traditional cookie-cutter approaches that typically are offered by other consulting companies.

“HR’s new mandate is to help the rest of the organization maximize its investment in its greatest asset, which is their people,” said Matt Lafata, HRchitect director of business development. “We are seeing it become more commonplace where HR has a great opportunity to make a significant and measurable impact on the firm’s bottom line through detailed planning, alignment of people and the appropriate use of technology.

“In order for HR departments and the company as a whole to carry out that mandate, it takes more than a strategy and vision — it takes systems and processes to back up those strategies as well as a commitment to implement what the plan calls for.”

Some of the consulting services that HRchitect provides as part of its HCM systems strategic planning services include reviewing existing corporate, HR, HCM, HRIS and IT strategic plans, along with detailed interviews with senior executives and other key individuals within an organization to validate these plans.

HRchitect brings a third-party perspective and industry knowledge to these steps that it has carefully developed over the past 10 years.

That extensive knowledge base is a critical element in helping HRchitect create an effective HCM strategic plan, including a multiyear HR technology plan.

“Companies have been coming to us for years for help with the selection and implementation of their talent management systems,” said Dan Katavola, HRchitect co-founder and vice president of consulting services. “It’s only natural that we help organizations step back and look at the big picture as to how all the different technology components and processes fit together. Most firms simply don’t have all the expertise internally to do this, and quite frankly they shouldn’t as it is not one of their core functions.

“We study HCM systems and processes every day, and we are able to implement best practices based on any company’s unique culture, needs and requirements.”
