Washington, D.C. — March 14
The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and PreVisor, a provider of predictive employee selection, have announced that PreVisor will sponsor HCI’s Assessment and Selection education and research track, one of several topics addressed in HCI’s Talent Acquisition community of interest, a community HCI considers essential for organizations seeking to build competitive advantage.

HCI and Previsor recognize that candidate selection, whether for external hires or internal redeployment, is of critical importance to effective talent management.

The track examines selection and assessment technologies, methods and best practices, including job analysis, initial-screening tools, skills and competency screening, online testing and assessment, interviewing, background and reference checking and onboarding.

A panel of expert advisrrs shares information through webcasts, white papers, education, and other resources.

“Proper selection has profound impact on workforce productivity and retention,” said Allan Schweyer, HCI president and executive director. “With PreVisor’s support, we are able to offer human capital professionals insight into today’s most effective assessment and selection tools and processes.”

Noel Sitzmann, PreVisor CEO, agrees.

“Proper candidate selection has a direct impact on an organization’s bottom line and the legal defensibility of its hiring practices,” Sitzmann said. “We are pleased to support HCI’s assessment and selection education and research initiatives to make organizations aware of the performance improvements that result from scientifically based selection practices.”

PreVisor also supports HCI’s Financial Services education and research track.

In addition, the company is a Diamond sponsor of the Human Capital Institute’s second-annual National Human Capital Summit.
