Michael C. Fina Annouces Executive Appointments

Michael C. Fina, a provider of worldwide corporate employee-recognition programs, has announced three executive appointments.

Michael C. Fina, a provider of worldwide corporate employee-recognition programs, has announced three executive appointments.

Edward L. Ford has been promoted to senior vice president of total recognition, Steve Walter has been named vice president of sales and Richard Tuck has been promoted to national sales director for the central region.

Ford joined Michael C. Fina in 2004 as vice president of total recognition, and he has been a practitioner in the recognition industry for more than 25 years. Previously, he was president and founder of FMTrecognition.

As senior vice president of total recognition, Ford will continue to consult with hundreds of organizations and present educational seminars, symposia and workshops on the concept of total recognition.

He is the author of several books, including “The Official Recognition Workbook – A New Mandate for Employee Recognition Programs.”

Ford received a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology from Brigham Young University and selected graduate studies at the University of Chicago and the Wharton School of Business.

He is an active member of WorldatWork and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Ford is a resident of Alpine, Utah.

Walter joined Michael C. Fina in 2004 as national sales director. Previously, he was director of sales at NTT/Verio, where he was responsible for the mid-Atlantic region.

In his new position, Walter is responsible for the management of all sales activities within the company. His responsibilities include the successful integration of marketing, brand development and initiatives to further Michael C. Fina’s overall vision and market trends.

Walter graduated from California State University at Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is an active member of WorldatWork and SHRM. Walter is a resident of Westfield, N.J.

Tuck joined Michael C. Fina in 2006 after a 26-year career at O.C. Tanner Recognition Co., where he served as regional manager. In his new position, Tuck will direct the sales activity of Michael C. Fina in the Central Region of the country.

Tuck earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His wife, Danielle, is also affiliated with Michael C. Fina. They make their home in Hinsdale, Ill.
