New York — Feb. 15
Monster Worldwide, parent of jobs Web site Monster.com, will form an online recruitment alliance with The New York Times Co.

The companies said 19 of the Times' newspaper sites — which include The Boston Globe, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and The New York Times itself — will co-brand their online recruitment advertising Web sites with Monster, with the sites beginning to appear next month.

The Times' Web page is the most visited newspaper site in the United States, the companies said.

The deal is part of Monster's strategy to strengthen its presence in local jobs markets, which now includes 60 daily newspapers and eight television partners.
