Veritude, a provider of strategic human resources, has promoted Jim McCoy to senior vice president of consulting services.

Veritude’s consulting services practice provides strategic consulting support to its clients in talent management, organizational development and human resources.

In his new role, McCoy expands his responsibility for the strategic vision and day-to-day operations of Veritude’s consulting services team.

He was instrumental in establishing the consulting services practice for Veritude and under his leadership, Veritude’s consulting services practice has grown into a multimillion dollar business line, supporting clients in the United States, Canada and Europe.

McCoy joined Veritude as a sales executive in February 2003 and in that role, he sold Veritude’s first recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) engagements.

Before joining Veritude, McCoy was a client sales executive at EDS, a global technology services company. He has held management positions at BankBoston, and he was a product and marketing manager in the global payments business at Chase Manhattan Bank.

A certified treasury professional, McCoy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Northwestern University.

“Jim’s contributions have helped drive significant growth in our consulting services practice,” said Diane Shelgren, executive vice president of strategy and client development. “His demonstrated commitment to Veritude and our clients continually helps us reach new heights of success.”

Veritude is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. Headquartered in Boston, the company serves clients throughout the United States and Canada.
