GENERAL MILLS, CIN DIRECTOR – ORGANIZATION EFFECTIVENESS

Provide leadership in the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of strategic corporate-wide HR organization effectiveness systems, such as performance management, assessment, talent management, leadership development and organization develop

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide leadership in the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of strategic corporate-wide HR organization effectiveness systems, such as performance management, assessment, talent management, leadership development and organization development.
  • Design and initiate corporate-wide organization effectiveness programs and new systems based on company strategy and/or culture and capability building objectives. (For example, cross-boundary career movement, innovation and decision speed improvement.)
  • Provide consulting services to key HR generalists and line executives in the areas of individual, team and organizational development. Respond to identified needs by designing and conducting sessions or sourcing and managing external resources (such as consultants and coaches).

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:



  • Experience and Education:

    • Master’s degree in Human Resource/Organization Development or related field or MBA with equivalent experience with five+ years of progressively responsible experience in the field of organizational development, performance consulting or change management in a Fortune 500 firm or consulting firm recognized for HR excellence, or
    • Ph.D. in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology with three to five years of related work experienc

  • A broad set of OE and HR experiences and interests, (i.e., an OE “generalist”). Capability to grow into more senior OE and HR generalist leadership roles.
  • Strong “business first” orientation to OE work with a strong track record of delivering results that matter to the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence line executives and HR generalists from a staff position. Highly developed consulting, collaboration and standup facilitation skills.
  • “Plus Qualifications” include global OE or HR experiences, HR systems/e-learning systems management.
