NorthgateArinso Unveils New Brand and Global Growth Plans

    Friday May 9, 2008

    Atlanta — May 6
Northgate Information Solutions' HR division has rebranded to NorthgateArinso. The new name follows Northgate HR's acquisition of Belgium-based HR BPO provider ARINSO in August 2007.

NorthgateArinso now offers an unrivalled portfolio of HR solutions globally, including business consulting, systems integration, business process outsourcing and software development and services. According to Chris Stone, CEO at Northgate Information Solutions, this unique proposition makes NorthgateArinso a supplier of choice for HR in terms of people, process and technology.

"We are now perfectly positioned to answer the challenges facing today's HR departments, who must deal with the forces of compliance, reporting, cost pressures, demographics, globalization and the war for talent," said Stone. "In less favorable economic circumstances, people are absolutely key to business success, making efficient and effective HR ever more important.

“NorthgateArinso enables a closer alignment between HR and the business. We partner with our customers to use best-practice processes and technology to help HR both create value for the business and move up the value chain within their organization."

The new brand also reflects the company's global remit. While Northgate HR is best-known in the U.K. — with one in three of the U.K. workforce paid using Northgate HR software — the company has offices in 31 countries and operations in 50, with plans for further geographic expansion. The consolidated company is set to become the leading global provider of HR and payroll services by 2012, said Stone.

"NorthgateArinso has ambitious goals for international growth," said Stone. "Our focus on combining software and service innovation with delivering outstanding customer value means we can help any organization transform their HR function and processes to be a source of competitive advantage."

As a division of Northgate Information Solutions, NorthgateArinso will benefit from the recent acquisition of the Group by KKR. Stone commented, "KKR's investment approach makes them an ideal partner for Northgate, as we share a common business philosophy for long-term value creation. For NorthgateArinso, we plan to expand our geographic operations and the services we deliver to customers."

Recently, the company has signed global outsourcing deals with Cadbury's and Scotiabank, and Stone expects many more deals of this size: "We have demonstrated our ability to win the trust of the world's most prestigious companies as their partner for HR solutions. We are extremely excited about the potential for NorthgateArinso to build on our strong foundations and achieve our ambitious targets," he concluded.
