Michael C. Fina Recertifies ISO 9001 Quality Management System for 6th Consecutive Year

    Friday February 22, 2008

    New York — Feb. 20
Michael C. Fina, an employee recognition company, announced it has successfully recertified its ISO 9001 Quality Management System for the sixth consecutive year for adhering to ISO’s (International Organization for Standardization) quality standards. ISO is a worldwide federation of 110 national standard bodies.

“It is not only an honor to receive this recertification, it’s among our top operating priorities,” said Steve Linn, vice president of operations at Michael C. Fina. “Our ISO Program continues to be a vital component of our customer experience delivery model. It helps us ensure a mindset of root-cause analysis and continual improvement.”

Michael C. Fina continually reviews its processes and performs internal audits every six months, as well as third-party surveillance audits of all 19 elements required by ISO, in order to be considered an ISO 9001 Registered Quality Management System.

ISO 9001 is a family of ISO quality management guidelines that was developed to create a framework of internationally recognized management standards. The ISO standards are maintained by ISO and administered by accreditation and certification bodies.
