    President of Michael C. Fina Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 Award Finalist

    George Fina, president of Michael C. Fina (a provider of worldwide corporate employee-recognition programs), is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 Award in the Metro New York Area. 

    The Ernst & Young awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. 

    Michael C. Fina was selected as a finalist from 65 nominations by a panel of independent judges.

    “We are absolutely delighted that George has been named one of the 30 finalists in the competition,” said Michael A. Fina, vice president of Michael C. Fina. “With over 40 years experience in designing and implementing recognition programs for some of America’s most recognizable brands, George has pioneered the modern-day recognition program.”

    Fina also said the company is honored to be among this year’s outstanding companies recognized by Ernst & Young for their outstanding business talent.

    The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program celebrates its 21st anniversary this year. 

    Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
