Talent mobility is a proactive approach to succession planning, employee development and career planning that focuses on dynamic talent rotation. It is an essential strategy for building deep talent pools and bench strength internally to ensure that leadership and overall staffing needs are adequately aligned to business plans and to reduce the reliance on and cost of sourcing talent externally. Talent mobility is also an important retention and engagement mechanism, since high performer flight increases after 15 to 18 months in the same position when there is little hope of movement (either laterally to round out skills or upward from an advancement perspective). Join Steve Bonadio of Softscape to learn more about the importance of a systematic talent mobility strategy and the significant business benefits that it affords.
